Acupuncture is a particular form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM can treat ANY condition - though like any other medical treatment - not every disorder will respond. What has been found time and time again is that patients feel better in themselves whether or not a specific problem has been resolved. We do not know how TCM works but clearly it is a means of promoting ( without side effects ) the amazing and powerful NATURAL healing properties which living things possess. Acupuncture is SAFE in the hands of a well-qualified practitioner and - in spite of the opinions of people who have NOT tried it - is usually painless.
Ruth studied on a three year full-time course in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM - Acupuncture ) qualifying in 1991 and since then has found helping patients to regain their health immensely rewarding.
